Popped this on the living room floor and Oliver froze for a second, then crouched low and watched it move. He gave it one careful paw, jumped back, then went in properly. After ten minutes he walked off, but came back later that evening and wrestled it again.
Daisy grabbed it, kicked it a few times, then carried it off to the rug and left it there. She ignores it some days, then suddenly gets very focused and stalks it again. Feels like it fits her mood rather than demanding attention.
Rosie sniffed it first and flicked her tail for a while before touching it. When it moved, she chased it in short bursts, then flopped down beside it like she’d had enough. She now goes back to it after naps rather than straight away.
Leo was interested straight away but only in short spells. He pounces, rolls with it, then wanders off to sit by the window. Later in the evening he usually comes back and gives it another go. That pattern’s stayed the same.
At first, Milo jumped when it made a noise and ran off behind the sofa. Ten minutes later he crept back and started batting it with both paws. He doesn’t play for long, but it reliably gets him moving for a bit each day.
