Jasper watched it quietly from the sofa at first. He didn’t chase much, but he tracked it with his head and would reach out when it came close. It doesn’t hype him up, which actually works better for him.
Pippa froze when it switched on, then crouched low and watched it for a full minute. After that, she started doing short pounces and backing off again. She didn’t stay glued to it, but she kept coming back between naps, especially in the evening.

Milo circled it first, tail flicking, then tapped it once and jumped back. He chased it hard for about five minutes, lay down, then returned later like he’d forgotten about it and rediscovered it again. That on-and-off pattern has stayed the same.
Luna startled the first time it moved, then started batting and following it around the room in short loops. She still loses interest after a while, but it’s one of the few toys she’ll come back to without prompting.
