Milo paws it lightly but mostly uses it for licking. It’s more of a quiet enrichment than something he plays with actively.
Rowan ignored it for the first day, then suddenly started rubbing his face against it and licking it in short bursts. It’s very calm interaction, not excitable at all.
Mounted this near the food area and Hazel noticed it straight away. She sniffed first, then started licking it slowly between meals. It’s become part of her routine rather than a play thing.
Not every cat will care. Pippa shows interest once in a while but doesn’t engage daily. Still useful as an option rather than constant entertainment.
This works best when mounted at head height. Cleo licks it for a minute or two, walks off, then comes back later. It doesn’t overstimulate her.
